My holidays were filled with above average temperatures pretty much every day. The down side was that the catching part of fishing went from great at the middle of July, to terrible by the end of the month. It is starting to pick up a little now but still not what I am used to at this time of year at Fawcett Lake.
I don't have many fishing pictures to show you but I did manage to get some decent photo's regardless. As per usual... clicking on the photos takes you to the full size photo's. Simply use your browsers "back" button to return to this blog.

Tim I never knew these were on before, I just love it all. The moose with the baby, and the sun set. Lorraine and Bert in the boat brought tears to me, as I never have had the opportunity to see Lorraine out fishing since her stroke. Thank you so much for sharing.
Hi Aunty! Not sure how you found this version of the blog but it is just a test site I use to try things out before I actually put them up on the real "Fawcett Lake Blog" which you can find at
